The hotel served its purpose well, with clean rooms and a pleasant pool area. It’s conveniently located about a 15-minute walk from town and the marina. However, the lack of an elevator and some maintenance issues were drawbacks. Pricing was reasonable, making it feel like decent value for money, but amenities like pool towels and laundry could definitely improve.

The Reef Club Resort had a wonderful atmosphere that was just the right balance of relaxed and busy. We were pleased with our spacious and clean apartment, along with access to a lovely pool area. However, the parking situation might not be ideal for everyone, especially within the confined spaces and steep driveways. Additionally, we faced some hiccups with the shuttle service that could be confusing for first-time visitors.
Rooms

The apartment was spacious and clean with comfortable accommodations, though some areas felt a bit tired. It was a nice surprise to receive a mid-week clean.
Service

The service was great with staff being very accommodating and helpful with tour bookings and local advice. However, a little confusion arose with the shuttle ticket prices on our last day.

The resort's location was fantastic, very close to the beach and within walking distance to Macrossan Street. It was convenient to stroll to nearby attractions without crossing major roadways.
Dining

I had an unpleasant experience at this hotel, as it fell short of expectations regarding cleanliness and comfort. The first room we entered had a very strong odor, and the facilities were outdated and dirty. However, there were some positive aspects, such as the spaciousness of the room and the friendly demeanor of the staff, even though they didn't resolve our issues effectively.

5.0/10
The experience at the resort was quite mixed. While there were some complaints regarding the cleanliness and condition of the rooms, I did appreciate the lovely pool and the convenience of being close to the beach. Overall, the rating provided wouldn’t truly reflect a 4.5-star experience as anticipated, but the friendly service was a plus that helped mitigate some of the negatives.
Rooms
5.0
The rooms were in poor condition, with dampness and mildew present, and the furniture appeared very worn and uninviting. I felt the cleanliness was below acceptable standards.
Service
5.0
Despite my negative experience, the service provided by the staff varied; some were helpful, while others were less accommodating and dismissive about the issues we brought up.
Location
7.0
The location was decent, within walking distance to the beach and the village, which made for an easy stroll to various amenities.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were limited since we preferred not to eat out at every meal, and there wasn't much in the room to facilitate cooking.
Facilities
6.0
While the pool was lovely and provided a good spot to relax, the overall cleanliness of the resort left much to be desired.

I had a mixed experience at the resort. While my unit was clean, quiet, and well-equipped, the furniture was quite old and uncomfortable. The location was decent, a safe walk to town, but lacking in amenities. I appreciated the shuttle service to the airport, but overall, this place may not be ideal for someone wanting more than just a place to sleep.
Rooms
6.0
The unit was clean and quite spacious, but the furniture felt outdated and the beds were a bit saggy.
Service
8.0
The staff were helpful, especially in arranging airport transfers and tour pickups, which made things easier for us.
Location
7.0
The location is good, about 1.2km from the main street, with a nice sidewalk for safe walking. However, be prepared for some distance if you need essentials.
Dining
7.0
We mostly ate out, but I liked having a fully equipped kitchen which allowed us to prepare our own meals when desired.
Facilities
5.0
Amenities were very basic, and it would have been nice to have more options onsite.
